Double Christmas Challenge - Circle Thinlits Flip Card

Pin It Now!
Hey crafty friend!  I'm popping in today with a little Christmas cheer!  Here's a flip card using SU's Circle Thinlits, with the twist of a festive banner on the inside.
I've extended the card with an extra flap, and when opened...
Out stretches a starry ornament banner!
The flip side of the circle is vellum embossed with Lucky Stars embossing folder.  The glue dots are strategically placed to be covered by sequins.
A little ribbon to finish the front.  It also makes it easy to tuck the circle and hold the card closed.
I'm playing along with these two Christmas challenges!  Please visit them for some jolly inspiration! Click on the pics to open their pages...

Sorry for the screenshot here...you get the picture :D
Have a wonderful week! I hope it's crisp and cool and sunny at your house, too!

Epic Day Altered Journal & Mini Comp Books

Pin It Now! By the time this posts I'll have been in Ireland for a week!  This is my first international trip, and I'm having the time of my life!  It's been a whirlwind, and I'm determined to capture all the small details. I shopped online for a travel journal that I'd be happy to write in, and really came up empty handed. I wanted a Smash book, but they're a little too cookie cutter for this trip. So...I dug through my craft room and found my barely used a Epic Day This & That Journal!  It's a nice size, the pages have somewhat of a travel/adventure theme, and the pages are plenty sturdy to glue photos and memorabilia down.

I covered it with some of the coordinating Epic Day DSP. I think the green map paper is perfect for Ireland memories!
I wrapped some (retired SU) ribbon around into a bow, added some lace, and an antique key. I've been writing in it for several days now, and it's holding up great!

The little Ireland embellishment is hand cut from one of the pages in the journal, after typing on it (thanks, DeeAnn!). I made a little bird's nest shape for linen thread and used Crystal Effects to glue it down.
I made a matching mini composition book to match...I've been jotting down all the little things that happen, that are so easy to forget. Then, I write it all down in the evenings.
I made a few for my traveling sistas, and my mom as well!  I've seen some of them busy jotting things down, and it makes me happy :D
I used our sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments to create the covers for my journals. Visit us and play along!
Have a blessed and creative day!  ~Erika

Holiday Home Bundle - Blue Christmas

Pin It Now! Hi there!  I'm dropping in today with a merry little card featuring the Holiday Home stamp set & Framelit bundle.

This one is pretty simple to create.  Whisper White background, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the snow drifts, and a few stamps.  I used the Framelit for the house, and fussy cut the tree.
Added a little "fork bow" and a rhinestone in the center of the wreath.

Like that new Lucky Stars embossing folder?  Cute for all year round!
So glad you stopped by!

Holiday Home Treat Wraps for Autumn

Pin It Now! Welcome to September! My favorite time of year. Chilly breezes, crisp falling leaves, and home baked apple crisp make my world go 'round!

Here's a fun little treat wrap featuring a blustery autumn scene, featuring the fabulous new bundle Holiday Home.
Wrapped inside is a pack of Mentos gum, and the ribbon is wrapped horizontally so that it pulls the gum out from the top. I created the little scene with stamps from the kit, then stamped, water colored, and die cut the home with the matching Framelit.

Have some cider today, celebrate!
